Except for the period o time •escri •ed .elow, no person s a combust , detonate or display any kind of fireworks within the city limits . Any person committing such an offense shall be deemed guilty of committing a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than Twenty-Five & No/100 ($25. 00) Dollars and not exceeding Five Hundred & No/100 ($500.00) Dollars or imprisoned for a term not to exceed six (6) months, or both. It is permissible to detonate, combust or display legally authorized fireworks between June 24th and July 7th annually between ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. , except on the day of July 4th when fireworks will be permitted from ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. through two o'clock (2 :00) A. M. on July 5th and December 31st from five o'clock (5:00) P.M. through two o'clock (2:00) A.M. January 1st . 9. 20.002 Age Restriction. Anyone 15 years of age and younger shall have adu t supervision at all times when combusting or detonating fireworks . 9.20.003 S ecial Events. As a consequence, the Parties agree that the City of Laurel shall provide only back up or support services for professionally trained hazardous materials technicians.
