There was discussion among the group that the First Aid Kits we have are not up to date and are missing a lot of items. Water plant: Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses: It was discussed that the Water Plant and Sewer Plant only have 2 SCBA's for each building. Each person needs to be fitted for their own mask. DXP was brought up as the company that probably handles these,Chris stated that he would contact them and ask them and also inform the Mayor on this issue. Chlorine Monitors: Nathan brought up that you cannot see the chlorine monitors from anywhere but inside the chlorine room. Nathan thought that this could be a hazard. Fran wanted to know what the possibility was to get form fitted ear plugs for everyone. Sewer manhole sniffers: It was brought up by Don Nelson that nobody except the water crew knows how to use the sewer sniffers. Don thought it would be a good idea to get everyone trained on these as they have to get called out for sewer problems in the middle of the night. Don stated that DXP would be the company to train on that item. Sewer Plant: Bob stated that he couldn't really think of anything at the sewer plant that needed attention other than the City needed to get a policy and procedure in place for confined space entry. Chris informed Bob that he is working on that and will have to work with Tim and Kurt as well on this. Chris Rosenberg thanked everyone for attending the meeting and bringing up safety items and that he will check on the items that were brought up. Respectfully submitted, D.: / ` Chris Rosenberg
