Urban and Community Forestry (UCF) Program have presented Urban Forestry Excellence awards at the
Montana League of Cities and Towns (MLCT) Annual Conference. For communities wondering how they
can be recognized for their urban forestry achievements...here's your chance!
To enter, please complete the nominations form below including the short summary identifying why your
community deserves the 2006 Urban Forestry Excellence Awaxd. Two communities will be the recipient
o£ a $1000 urban forestry grant award for a project within the community and presented with their award
at the MLCT Annual Conference in West Yellowstone this October! The deadline for entries is FR/DA Y,
SEPTEMBER 1, 200~
We ~:ely heavily on your nominations to identify deserving communities and many worthwhile efforts
would never come to our attention without your input. Award winners from past years are certainly
eligible for present and future awards.
