A Special meeting of the City C°tmcil of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Larry D. Herman,
- at 5:!~ o'clock, PJ~., on Wednesday, December 6, 1978.

This being the time and place advertised for the opening of bids
for an air compressor, the follo~tn~ bids were opened and read aloud.

Dear Sirs:
In response to your call for bids for one air compressor,
we are pleased to offer the following:
One LEROI MODEL Q160G AIR COMPRESSOR, with gas
engine, two LEROI MODEL 90 BREAKERS and tools
to meet all of your bid requirements.
P.O.B. Laurel, Montana ................. $9,949.00
As an alternate, we offer:
One LBROI Q1600 AIR COMPRESSOR with diesel engine
and all above listed equipment.
F.O.B. Laurel, Montana ................ $11,449.00
If the City of Laurel should desire to lease the above equipment,
we offer the following options:
One LEROI Q160G AIR COMPRESSOR, two LBg0 BREAKERS
and air tools - $715 per month, or
One LEROI Q1600, two LBg0 BREAKERS, and air tools f
$830 per month.
The lease would be for a maximum of 24 months with an option for
the City of Laurel to purchase the equipment at the end of 24
months for $1.00.
Specifications on the LEROI gas and diesel compressors and LB90
breaker are enclosed for your review. The gas englne air com-
pressor and tools can be delivered within 60 days. The diesel
can be delivered within 150 days.
A representative of our Company will attend your bid opening
to answer any questions you may have.

Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
At this time the Mayor recessed the meeting to study the bids. Upon
r~econvening, the following motion was made.
Motion b~ Alderman Metzger: To accept the bid from Western Equipment
for $9,929.00. Seconded by Alderman Ehrlick. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the council at this
time, the meeting was adjourned.

Laurel, Montana, this 19th day of December, 1978.
