A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montar~,
was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor I~rry D. Herman,
at 5:15 P. M., on Thursday, October 12th.

This meeting was called as a continuation of the August 14th
meeting for the specific purpose of setting the mt~1 levy. The valuation
of this years mill has been set at $ 4,988,658.00. The breakdown of ~he
mtlls would be as follows:
General Fund .......... 6Omtlls
P.E~.S.- ............. 2 m411s
S.I.D. Revolving ...... 2 m~ll~
Vol. Fire Dept.- ...... 2 mills
F.A~. Bonds .......... 11 mills
Water Res. Bonds ...... 3 mills
FiremensRelief ....... 2 mtlls
Total ...... 82 mills
~otion by Alderman Kilpatrick: To approve 60 mills for the General
Fund. Seconded by Alderman Metzger. Carried.
Motion by Alderman Ehrlick: To approve 2 mills for Firemen's Relief.
Seconded by Alderman Carter. Carried.
Mgtion by Alderman Ehrlick: To approve 2 mills for Vol. Fire Dept.
Secondndby .Alderman Metzger. Carried.
Motion by Alderm,- Ehrlick: To approve 2 mtlls for P.E~.S..
Seconded by ~14erman Carter. Carried.
Motion by Alderman Ehrlick: To approve 2 mills for the S.I .D.
Revolving Fund. Seconded by Alderman Meyers. Carried.
Motion by Alderman Ehrlick: To approve 3 mills for Water Reservoir
Bonds. Seconded by Alderman Metzger. Carried.

There being no further business to come before the council at this
time, the meeting was adjourned.
