SHERIDAN SUBDIVISION:
Cit~ County Planning Board made the following recommendation.
Conditionally approve the plat on the following conditions:
1) The subdivision improvement agreement addresses the removal
of the existing buildings.
2) The elimination of the two PrOposed fire hydrants with the
location of a single hydrant in the center of the blk.
3) The extension of the sanitary sewer line to the end of the blk.
4) The park dedication will be $888~00
There being n~ protesters'present on this matter the following Resolution was
presented.
RESOLUTION NO. 1680
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SHERIDAN SUBDIVISION AS AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LAUREL,
MONTANA.
Motion. by Alderman Me~zers: That Resolution No. 1680 be passed and
adopted. Seconded by Alderman Rodgers. Motion carried.

MurPhy presented a petition signed by over 50% of the property owners
within the dl:strict. Murphy then presented the following Resolution.
RESOLUTION NO. 1681
A RESOLUTION )ECLARING IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAUREL, MONTANA, TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 99 DESIGNATING AND
DESCRIBING THE NUMBER AND BOUNDARIES OF SAID DISTRICT, STATING TEE GENERAL
CHAPu~CTER OF ~HE IMPROVEMENTS WHICH ARE TO BE
MADE

ESTIMATED COS? OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS, AND THE TIME WHEN AND THE PLACE WHERE TEE

Motion by Alderman Masse~,: That Resolution No. 1681 be passed and
adopted. Seconded by Alderman Meyers. Motion carried.
NOTICE OF INTENT - WHITFIELD SUBDIVISION:
The! City County Planning Board recommends that Whitfield Subdivision,
Lots 11 through 17, and Certificate of Survey No. 168 be annexed as R-3 zone.
RESOLUTION NO. 1682
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX CERTAIN LAND CONTIGUOUS TO TEE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA.
LOTS 11 THROUGH 17, AND CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY NO. 168, WHITFIELD SUBDIVISION.
Motion by Alderman Rod~ers: That Resolution No. 1682 be passed and
adopted. Seconded by Alderman Massey. Motion carried.
WILLIAM OSTERMILLER - TRUCKS ON THE CITY STREETS:
Dis;ussion regarding the big cement trucks and gravel trucks using
other city streets, than 1st Ave. and 8th Ave. as designated as the truck routes.
This matter r~ferred to the Street and Alley Committee.
AUXILIARY POLICE AND RESERVE POLICE OFFICERS STATUS:
RESOLUTION NO. 1683
BEING A RESOLUTION CREATING AN AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICER STATUS AND A RESERVE
POLICE OFFICER STATUS FOR TEE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA:
Motion b~ Alderman Meyers: That Resolution No. 1683 be passed and
adopted. Seconded by Alderman Metzger. Carried.

Senior Citizens Center. Discussion.
Motion by Alderman Meyers: That Lots 11 - 20 Block 15, Yellowstone
Subdivision, be deeded to the Laurel Senior Citizens Center with a deed
restriction that the land be used only for charitable non-profit
organizations or it will revert back to the city. Seconded by Alderman
Met~ger. Carried.
NO. 1650 - coDIFYING THE CODES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL:
Motion by Alderman Rod~ers: That Ordinance No. 650 be adopted.
Secsnded by Alderman Meyers. Motion carried.
