RqLL CALL: Council members present: Albert Ehrtick Thomas Kilpatrick Charles Rodgers Ronald Massey Harold Burns Donald Meyers Susan Carter Ervin Metzger Council members absent: None INVOCATION: Invocation given by the Reverend Edward Ferguson. MINUTES: Minutes of the December 20th regular meeting approved as presented. Minutes of the December 27th special meeting approved as presented. CORRESPONDENCE: Letter from the Department of Highways regarding changing some fire hydrants. Copy attached. Letter from the Vol. Fire Dept. regarding fire protection at Mossmain Industrial Park. Copy of Letter attached. Motion by Alderman Burns: To write a letter to Mr~ Folsom informing him that the City does not care to provide fire protection outside the City Limits, since it has not been our policy to do so. Seconded by Alderman Ehrlick. Carried. Seconded by Alderman Carter. Carried. EMPLOYEES INSURANCE: Motion by Alderman Ehrlick: That the Health Insurance for employees be put out for bid, and that an ad be placed in the paper to contact Dewey Nunn or Valley Hegel at the S.D. Plant for report by February 7th. Seconded by Alderman Meyers. Carried. ~IN STREET PARKING: Gene Barsness presented a parking problem that involves persons living in apartments on Main Street between First Avenue and Montana Avenues. Council to consider. Mayor instructed the City Clerk to write a letter of condolence to Mrs. Walt Teeters. There being no further business to come before the council at this time, the meeting was adjourned.
