January 12, 2016
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the
Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Mark Mace at 7:11 p.m. on January 12, 2016.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Emelie Eaton Doug Poehls
Bruce McGee Richard Herr
Tom Nelson Chuck Dickerson
Bill Mountsier
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Scot Stokes
OTHER STAFF PRESENT: Heidi Jensen, CAO
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.
ROLL CALL OF THE COUNCIL.
SCHEDULED MATTER:
• Resolution No. R16-05: A resolution of the City Council authorizing the Mayor to
execute an easement and buy/sell agreement with Monte and Tesha Howrey for the
purpose of constructing, operating, maintaining, replacing and repairing of
underground utilities, and purchasing .2 acres of property for placement of a control
building.
Motion by Council Member Dickerson to approve Resolution No. R16-05, seconded by
Council Member Nelson. There was no public comment or council discussion. A vote was taken on
the motion. All seven council members present voted aye. Motion carried 7-0.
ADJOURNMENT.
There being no further business to come before the council at this time, the meeting was adjourned at
7:13 p.m.
