SPECIAL COUNCIL WORKSHOP
APRIL 26, 2006 6:00 P.M.
CITY HALL
A Special Council Workshop was called to order at City Hall by Mayor Ken Olson at 6:00 p.n~ on
April 26, 2006.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT:

Public [nDut (three-minute limit):
Citizens may address the Council regarding any item of City business not on the agenda. The duration for an individual
speaking under Public Input is limited to three minutes. While all comments are welcome, the Council will not take
action on any item not on the agenda,
· No public was present.
Tour of the East First Street Project
· Steve Klotz showed the Preliminary Construction Drawings for the East First Street Project
to the council.
· Discussion included:
o Bike lanes
o Parking lanes
o Installation of curb, gutter, and sidewalks
o The gas line located ia the street section of East First Street, which MDU lowered
o Task order for additional fiat work in tho alley of Colorado Avenue
o Handicap parking
· As the council toured the project, Steve aaaswered questions and explained the current status
and futtcre schedule for the project.
The council workshop adjourned at 7:25 p.n~
