The CPi a t0ol to identify needs and allocate resources to Montana communities and residents, is developed with information from interested citizens, especially Iow- and moderate-income citizens; local government officials; statewide and regional institutions and other organizations, including businesses, developers, and community and faith-based organizations; and public and private agencies that provide assisted housing, health services, and social services. The CP also serves as the annual application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) programs. Combined, these grant programs receive approximately $12 million per year that is invested in Montana's communities. Your participation is critical to our statewide planning process, so please join us for a free continental breakfast on Monday, April 10, from 7:30 - 8:30 am, in Hardin at the Big Horn County Courthouse, Room 103, 121 W 3rd St. (Note: Meeting is immediately preceding the Montana Board of Housing's meeting scheduled in Hardin.) Pre-registration is not required, but please help us ensure we have enough food and seating by contacting Linda Schofield at (406) 841-2820 or Ischofield@mt. gov if you plan to attend the CP meeting. The consolidated planning process is important for Montana communities and we encourage your active participation.
