ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA,
RELATING TO ELENA SUBDMSION, SECOND FILING,
AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LAUREL
WHEREAS, zoning changes have been requested in the Zoning Map of the City of Laurel,
Montana, by the developer of Elena Subdivision, Second Filing, An Addition to the City of Laurel, as
part of the annexation and platting process as encouraged by MCA 76-3-601(2)(d); and
WHEREAS, such requested changes from Residential Tracts Zoning are as follows: R-7500
for Lot 5, Block 1, Lots 1-3 and %16, Block 2, Lots 1-12, Block 3, Lots 1-11, Block 4, and Lots 1-8,
Block 6; R-6000 for Lots 4-6, Block 2, and Lot 1, Block 5.
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning for the Elena Subdivision, Second Filing, An Addition to the
City of Laurel, was approved as part of the preliminary platting process by the Laurel City Council,
subject to conditions, on Deeernber 7, 2004 by Resolution No. R04-125; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the residents of the City of Laurel to adopt this
Ordinance to provide for uniform and orderly growth for the City;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana that the
Zoning Map of the City of Laurel, Montana is amended as set forth herein.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City Council
and approved by the Mayor.
