Laurel Urban Renewal Agency (LURA)
November 16th, 2015, Laurel Public Library meeting room
Meeting was called to order by Chair Judy Goldsby. Roll call/Attendance:
Non-Quorum of voting members present: Mardie Spalinger. Advisory board
members: Kent Harris, Janice Lehman, Diane Lehm, Linda Fricke', Heidi
Jensen and Noel Eaton. Others present: Jerry Pavelec.
Introductions: Noel Eaton (New City Planner)
Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting: None (No Quorum)
Old Business: None.
New Business: Façade application for Fowl Play.
Reports: City Administration: Heidi Jensen.
Public Works: Kurt Markegard (Via phone conference call)
The Washington storm drain project is going well. Temporary paving is to
begin this week if it is not raining.
A re-bidding for painting and bump outs will be in January.
Keith, the Code Enforcement officer is working on the demolition of the grain
elevator, the garage behind Outlaw Tattoo and the Laurel Trading Post.
Conoco wants to construct a higher entrance/exit on 6th Ave.
Requiring a deadline for future Grants should begin as soon as possible.
