An important component of the ROD was public participation in the process that the Real Estate Management Bureau uses to identify real estate projects on Trust lands. As a part of this public outreach, the Real Estate Management Bureau, in conjunction with the Southern Land Office, will be conducting a public meeting in Billings to discuss the ROD and its implications on Real Estate activity on Trust lands located in the DNRC Southern Land Office. The Southern Land Office manages Trust land in Big Horn, Carbon, Musselsbell, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Treasure and Yellowstone Counties. At this meeting members of the DNRC Real Estate Management Bureau (REMB) will be on hand to present information on various aspects oftbe ROD and FEIS. Additionally, I will present information on the real estate projects that are currently taking place within the Southern Land Office and also identify Trust lands that may have potential for development in the future. This meeting is part of a series of meetings that the REMB is conducting throughout the state to discuss the ROD.
