ORDINANCE AMENDING TABLE 17.16.020 (SETBACKS) OF THE LAUREL
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CORNER RESIDENTIAL LOTS
WHEREAS, changes have been recommended to improve the buildable area o fresidential
comer lots in the City of Laurel; and
WHEREAS, such changes do not detract from the public health and safety of residential
neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, the Laurel Zoning Commission held a duly advertised public hearing on
October 6, 2005 at which no protest was registered; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the residents of the City of Laurel to amend such
an ordinance.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that the
LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE is hereby amended as is set forth below.
Table 17.16.020 shall be amended as follows: The minimum yard setback requirements
measured from the public right-of-way for rear lots shall be five feet in the R7500, R6000,
RLMF, and RMF Zones.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City
Council and approved by the Mayor.
Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on
October 18 ., 2005, byAlderperson Mace
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second reading this 6th day of
December ,2005, upon motion of Alderperson Eaeton
