CHANGING LAUREL CITY ORDINANCE 17.68.050 (SPECIAL REVIEW)
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Laurel that Section17.68.050,
City Council Antions, be changed as follows:
Change "--zoning commissioner's report," to "--Zoning Commission's
report,".
Add a new paragraph (C) to read: "In the event the City Council holds its
own public hearing on the application, then the recommendations of the Zoning
Commission and the notice of public hearing before the City Council shall both be
published twice in the newspaper of general circulation in the jurisdictional area of the
Laurel-Yellowstone City-County Planning Board with the first publication being at least
fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing."
This Ordinance changing the Laurel Municipal Code shall become effective thirty
(30) days after final passage by the City Council and approved by the Mayor.
Introduced on first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 5th
day of July , 1994 by Alderman Diekerson
Passed and adopted by the Laurel City Council on second reading this
19th dayof July , 1994, upon a motion by Alderman
Marshall
