Doug Poehls Pat Kimmet Jenny Johnson Dick Fritzler Jan Faught Mike Zuhoski Chairman Doug Poehls asked if there was any public input. There was none. FAP Task Force Building Report Jan stated the Task Force Committee had walked through the FAP and looked at the facility. She said it had been suggested that the ambulance department take over the room on the southeast comer of the FAP, which is currently used by fire department. The mom has the cascade system for filling air tanks and storage in it, and the fire department would move to the room that is currently used by the ambulance department. These conditions may be met if the cascade system would fit through the door of the current ambulance office. The door jams could be removed to make this poss~le. The brush trucks would be moved to the bay that now houses the ambulances and Jan would be given half a bay next to her office for parking the ambulances. Jan said the office space would be adequate and the accessibility for the ambulances would be fmc; however, there would not be enough room for two ambulances when sharing the same bay with fire truck Tender 1. The ambulance department would need more bay area. Doug suggested the committee walk over to the FAP and look at the ares Discussion continued and it was mentioned that it may be possible for the two departments to exchange office space and keep the bay space that they currently use. Jan stated this would not provide easy access to the ambulances for supplying them. This solution could be short term. It was suggested that the ambulance and fire departments get together in an evening and work together by moving trucks and ambulances around to find the best solution. It was decided that the committee would make a recommendation to the council. Motion was made by Doug Poehls to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Dick Fritzler. Motion Respectfully submitted, Neva Hall Secretary
