Minutes
August 2015 minutes were presented. Clair motioned to approve the minutes as read, Dixie seconded the
motion. Motion passed.
Correspondence
A check in the amount of$2,384.32 was received from the Montana State Library. This is funds
provided to the library through the Coal Severance Tax fund allocated by the Montana State Legislature
each biennium.
The library received a letter from Cynthia R. Woods,Attorney At Law, LLM. The library has been
named in the will of Bonnie Preikszas after her passing in July 2015. The will is being probated at this
time. The amount willed to the library will become available at a later date, most likely after December
2015.
Circulation Report—compared to same time period last year...
Traffic: up 6.74%; circulation: all items circulated totaled 3,357 (including 229 eBooks), book
circulation was up 4.18%, media circulation was down 17.07%, eBook checkouts for this month was
7.73%of total book circulation; computers: internet use was down 7.66%, children's use was up
21.43%,wi-fi use up 33.33%; patron cards: not available at this time. There were 44 tech assists in
August.
Old Business
South Central Federation will be holding its next meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Rosebud
County Library in Forsyth.Nancy will be traveling down early that morning if anyone wants to ride with
her rather than by themselves. Her attendance at the Federation meeting is mandatory.
New Business
The fall Montana Shared Catalog meeting will be held Thursday, October 1,2015 in Helena. The Fall
Workshop is being held also in Helena on October 2nd& 3rd, 2015. Nancy will be attending both the
MSC meeting and the Workshop since they are being held consecutively at the Red Lion Colonial Inn in
Helena.
The next book sale is being scheduled for October 27—31, 2015. The open hours of the sale will be 9:00
am—7:00 pm, Tuesday thru Friday and 9:00 am—4:00 pm on Saturday. Setup will take place starting
on Sunday and Monday. Many volunteers are needed to pass the information along to anyone that may
be looking to help with the sale.

Dixie motioned that the Board meeting be adjourned,Bill seconded the motion. Motion passed. Meeting
adjourned at 6:25 pm.
