2005 Urban Foresto/ Excellence A wards
For the past three years, MUCFA and the Montana DNRC have presented Urban Forestry Excellence awards at the
Montana League of Cities and Towns Annual Conference. Nomination time is here again and for those of you
wondering how your community can be recognized for its urban forestry achievements...here's your chance!
To enter, please complete the nominations form below including the short summary identifying why your
community or an organization in your community deserves the 2005 Urban Forestry Excellence Award. For the
first time this year, recipients will receive a $1000 urban forestry grant award for a project within the community!
The deadline for entries is Z/E/DAY, SF_avT/dI~ER 2, 2t~$. It's that easy!
We rely heavily on your nominations to identify deserving entities and many worthwhile efforts would never
come to our attention without your input. Award winners from past years are certainly eligible for future awards.
Award winners will he contacted in early September for follow-up information (if necessary) and presented with
their award at the Montana League of Cities and Towns Annual Conference in Helena this fa]2!
