Dear Mr. Olson:
Congratulations, the Montana Department of Commerce has determined that the City of
Laurel has met the requirements for a Treasure State Endowment Program (TSEP)
preliminary engineering grant, and is awarding the requested amount of $15,000 to
study your storm water system. House Bill 11, which appropriates the funds for the
TSEP grants was passed by the 59th Legislature and signed by Governor Brian
Schweitzer on May 8, 2005.
Please keep in mind, no expenses are eligible for reimbursement until a contract with
the Department has been executed. In addition, there are various requirements that
must be complied with. Richard Knatterud, TSEP Engineer, will be the Department's
liaison for this grant, and he will be contacting you soon.
Again, congratulations on the award of your TSEP grant and we look forward to working
with you to complete your preliminary engineering study. If you have any questions,
please contact Mr. Knatterud: by mail at PO Box 200523, Helena, MT 59620-0523; by
phone at (406) 841-2784; or by email at rknatterudC~,mt..qov.
Sincerely,
Anthony J. Preite, Director
