BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
MARCH 15, 2005 5:00 P.M.

Chairman Mark Mace called the regular meeting of the BudgeffFinance Committee to order.
There was no public in attendance.
The minutes from the March 1, 2005 meeting were approved as presented, via motion by
Doug, seconded by Gay, and passed unanimously.
The February Journal Vouchers #438-442 were reviewed by the mayor. Motion by Gay,
seconded by Doug to approve the February Journal Vouchers. Motion carried.
Utility Billing adjustments for February 2005 were reviewed by the committee and
approved.
The February 2005 Financial Statements were reviewed by the committee and approved.
The following purchase requisition was reviewed and approved.
STREET MAINTENANCE FUND:
J & M Auto Parts - rebuild motor on 1978 dump track $1,428.36
The committee reviewed the Comp/OT reports for PPE 2/27/05.
The Payroll Register for PPE 2/27/05 totaling $129,097.35 Was reviewed by the committee.
Motion by Gay, seconded by Doug to approve the payroll register for PPE 2/27/05 totaling
$129,097.35. Motion carried.
Cost Analysis for 8½ hour shifts - The minutes from the special meeting are being prepared
and will be reviewed at the next meeting.
Accounting Policies and Procedures - No new progress had been made.
Upcoming Projects: There was no discussion on the Park Maintenance District, SID #111,
or the Solid Waste Rate Increase.
There was discussion regarding a new recording machine for the council. Information was
distributed on the Marantz PMD670 recorder with a bid of $1,495.00 and shipping of $30.00.
Motion by Doug, seconded by Kate to authorize the purchase of the PMD670 recorder at a
cost of $1,525.00, which includes shipping and handling. Motion carried.

The next regular Budget/Finance meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 5th at 5:00 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 5:19 p.m.
