AMENDING CHAPTER 15.16 OF THE LAUREL
MUNICIPAL CODE, TO ADOPT THE
CABO ONE AND TWO FAMILY DWELLING CODE
1995 EDITION.
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that Section
15.16 of the Laurel Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
15.16.010 Adoption.
The CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code, 1995 Edition, copyrighted by the
International Conference of Building Officials, together with any appendix or subsequent amendments
or additions thereto, adopted or as may be adopted in the future by the Montana State Building Codes
Bureau, as applicable to local governments, is adopted by and declared to be the CABO One and Two
Family Code of the city for the purpose of regulating the fabrication, erection, construction,
enlargement, alteration, repair, location, use and remodeling of detached one- and two-family
dwellings, their appurtenances and accessory structures within the municipality or within the city
building inspector's jurisdictional area as may hereafter be established and approved by the state of
Montana and adopted by the city.
One full printed copy of the code shall be cn E!c available in the offices of the city engineer.
The aforesaid, CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code is adopted by reference and made a part of
this chapter as fully, and for all intents and purposes, as though set forth herein at length. It shall be
known and designated as the "CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code" of the municipality.
15.16.020 Updated references.
The CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code described in Section 15.16.010 is amended by
the additions, deletions and modifications set forth in the following sections of this chapter
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting of the Laurel City Council on
March 2, 1999, by Alderman
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second reading this 16th day of
