Dear Steve,
On July 15, 16, 17, 2005 Billings will host the 20~ Anniv~sary of the Big Sky State G-ames. We are
gearing up for the celebrafionl On behalf Big Sky State Games and Sport Commissioner of Road Race,
we are respectthBy requesting to hold the 10K and Half-marathon Road Race, Saturday, Suly 16, near
Riverside Park again this year. We would like to request the use of Riverside Park for a staging and
awards area. The race would be run on Theft Road and continue on to River Road.
Riverside Park- lOk and Half Marathon Staging and Awards Saturday, July 16 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
We would need use of an area of the park, picnic tables, and parking for approximately
200 cars.
In addition to this request, we would also ask the City of Laurel to "pencil" us in for the 2006 Games.
The 2006 Big Sky State Games will be held July 14, 15, 16.
Enclosed is a Facility Use Request form for the 2005 Games. Ii'this is agreeable with you please sign
and return one copy in the enclosed addressed and stamped envelope. Keep one copy for your feces:ds..
The City of Lanrol will be included as an "Additional Insured" on the State Games insurance policy.
Please call if you have questions or concerns, or if there is anything that needs to be done for
competition preparation~
