Roundtable on March 15, 2007
Dear Mayor Olson:
www.billings.¢om
The Yellowstone Historic Preservation Board appreciates your concern with historic
preservation issues and the health of our community.
I've enclosed a nomination form for the Annual Eugene Carroll Historic Preservation
Award. Please send your response / nomination by February 1, 2005 to allow adequate
time to review the nominees. Joyce Jensen, the author of Pieces and Places of Billings
History, was the 2003 recipient. Last year we honored Ruth Towe, former director of the
Moss Mansion, for her outstanding contributions to historic preservation. We'll
congratulate each of the nominees and announce the recipient of the award at our Annual
Historic Preservation Roundtable on Tuesday morning, 7:30-9:30, March 15, 2005 at
the Billings Depot. We hope you can attend.
If you have any preservation concerns or comments please contact a board member or
share them at our monthly board meeting (the third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 A.M.,
Billings city offices on the fourth floor of the Library).
Sincerely,
Kevin Kooistra-Marming,
