Minutes of the November 18, 2004 meeting were approved with a motion by Mark Mace, and a
second by Lorraine Craig.
Public Input
No one was present from the public.
Chairman Easton presented a handout from the Water Office for David Yeager, 909 Casa Linda Circle.
He is asking for an adjustment of his sewer charges. Mr. Yeager has requested to be present at the
January meeting.
City Park Leases
The committee discussed the recommendations that were made at the November meeting, in regards to
the leases. Those recommendations were as follows:
1. Water meters to be installed in all of the buildings at Riverside Park.
2. The leases for the buildings at Riverside Park should be set at $25 per month.
3. The leases be reviewed every year at a public works meeting attended by each club
representative.
It was also suggested that the water well at Riverside Park be uncapped and used for outside irrigation
only; and that the clubs responsibilities and the City's responsibilities for the buildings and groundsneed
to be better defined.
These suggestions will be sent to a Council Workshop sometime in January.
Lorraine Craig stated the $1.00 fee at the Fire Hail should be addressed.
The committee has 2 vacant spots that need to be filled.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 pm.
