To date, there are two nominations to fill these positions. These nominees are: · Wes Burley - Town & Country Supply Association · Steve O'Neil - Farmer's Union Insurance Nominations for the Executive Board of Directors are: · Bob O'Dea current President will serve as Past President and President (he will only stay on for one more year). · Donna Podolak, current Director has been nominated for Vice President · Linda Wedel, current Vice President will stay on as Vice President lfyou would like to nominate others, you may do so by sending the names of your nominees with five signatures from current Chamber members within ten days of this letter. If new nominations are received, ballots will be sent to each voting member of the Laurel Chamber of Commeme. If no new nominations are received b.,y November 23rd, the nominees listed above will be voted in at the next meeting to be held November 24% The new directors will replace these people: · Sheryl Bmster - CHS Inc. (current Vice President) · Donna Podolak - Donna's Massage Therapy (current Director- nominated for Vice Pmsiden0 Ryan Bun'ows of Edward Jones Investments will go offthe Board since he is currently serving as Past President. Christmas To Remember Parade Sunday, December5, 200 - 5 p.m. Awards In The Followinl~ Categories,. *Best of Parade *Best Lighted Entry *Best Walking Entry *Best Commereial Registration fee is $5.00, additional entries $1.00 each. Registration is at Helena Chemical Parking Lot located at Main Street :md 5* Avenue. Line up will begin at 4:30 p.m. on both sides of 6t~ Avenue facing Main Street. The parade route begins at 6~ Avenue and Main Street and goes down Main Slreet and ttwns up at Colorado Avenue and ends at Ben Franklin Store. Rules are as follows: No throwing candy- candy can be handed out but not thrown ~ moving eutfies. · Floats need to be lighted since the parade is in the dark- walkers can carry candies or flashlights. If someone ~s driving or acting in conduct that may cause injury to another, they will be forc~ to exit the parade. Horses and other animals will be lined up towards the end of the parade. Loud vehicles or noisy entries will be lined up towards the front of the parade.
