First order of business was to acknowledge Mike Zuhoski as the non-union member replacing Chris
Shay.
Motion by Jason Wells, second by Bud Arnold to recommend that the City enter into an
agreement for employee health insurance through Montana Municipal Insurance Agency. Motion
carried with a unanimous 5-0 vote.
Guy Rolison stated that the shop employees have expressed interest in finding out about long-term
disability insurance. Guy will contact Dave Allen at Western States Insurance and invite him to the
December 8th meeting. A time will be determined at a later date.
Mike Zuhoski suggested that we do a self-audit of the insurance by requesting that employees pass along
any problems they may have had regarding insurance.
MMIA has plans to have several different types of health insurance programs available by July 2006.
This will give the employee the option to go with the plan that most fits his/her circumstances.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:09 pm.
