Members Present: Doug Poehls, Chairman Tom Nelson Richard Dawes Clete Knaub Others Present: Rick Musson Riley Hutchens Jan Faught Grant—Cardiac AED's Riley Hutchens, an ambulance attendant for Laurel, stated that he would like to see the City of Laurel have a goal to get AED's in every emergency vehicle by using the cardiac grant. He pointed out that early treatment can make a difference in the outcome of a patient. The ambulance attendants would be able to notify the hospital with information that would be crucial in saving the patient's life. Riley said that zero amount comes out of the city but they need the support of the city to move forward. Chief Musson stated that he is in favor of this. He has one that was donated to his department and is in one of the police cars. Riley was asked to send a formal letter to the city. Underpass Construction Chief Musson stated there would be 3-way stop signs at three different intersections. Safety Mill Levey Doug stated that the Outlook printed 1000 pamphlets. He handed out a few pamphlets to be viewed. Doug was working with the Outlook on limiting the cost of printing. Discussion on cost of mailing out information.
