Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on June 11th at Redneck Pizza. In attendance were: Executive Board Members:
President-Christy Williams,VP- Molly Conrad and executive secretary- Marcia Hafner. Directors: Amanda
Powell. Members: Zada Stamper, Heidi Jensen,Sandy Reese, Cindy Drake and Mary Lou Batalden. We did
not have a quorum.
Christy called the meeting to order.
The minutes were handed out:
The financial report was discussed: A motion was not needed because all items were approved with the
budget.
Old BUSINESS
• New Board Members- An email vote of the board members will be sent out so we can
install the new board members. (New board members: Cindy Drake, Sandy Reese, Ann
Soares and Mary Lou Batalden were voted in.) Holly Anderson was nominated to become
the new Vice-President. (Voted in June 18th to replace Amanda Frye as vice-president.
She will need to sign the signature cards at Yellowstone Bank and Altana FCU.)
• July 4th - The response to the changes to the parade location has been pretty good. The
crafters and the runners are not as happy. The volunteer sheet was passed around. We
still have a few spots to fill. Molly will ask the "We the People" advisor if they will agree to
be the Grand Marshal.
New BUSINESS
• New Members- Pollination
• Ribbon Cutting - There will be a ribbon cutting at the Gigglin' Grizzly Beads & Gifts.
OPEN FORUM
• LURA - 4 locations were awarded a large grant from LURA: Cornerstone Plumbing, Taco
Bell, High Plains Brewing and 613 1/2 E. Main.

OLD BUSINESS
• July 4th - Marcia will report on feedback received and profit&loss.
• Board Member- Introduce Brian Renier-Altana FCU rep. He will be taking Monna Rae's spot on the
board.
NEW BUSINESS -
• Farmers' Market- Laurel Downtown Farmers' Market starts July 15th. Woman's club will be the
Market Masters again.

Ribbon Cuttings
• Pollination - New owners are looking at a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting the first week of
August.
