Dear Members of the Laurel City Council:
Laurel High School Pep Club is planning our 2004 homecoming
activities. The date for homecoming is Friday, September 24, 2004 Our
annual parade is part of our plans. As you have requested, we are sending
you our request for police assistance in writing.
Pep Club sponsors include Ms. Marianne Llewellyn and Ms. Andrea
Prevost; They are our contact people at the high school.
The line up for the parade is at 3:35 P.M. We will line up near the
Laurel Public Library's parking lot near the Starlight Skating Rink. Ms.
Llewellyn and the pep club parade committee will give entrants a line up
plan in advance to ensure that no streets and driveways will be blocked.
High school administrators will assist with this.
The parade will start at 4:00 P.M. We are also contacting the fire
department to again lead our parade. The parade will go onto Main Street
t~om 8th Ave. West and go to First Avenue. It will turn to go north on First
Avenue and follow First Avenue, ending at the football field.
