Roll Call: Those in attendance were Judy Goldsby,Greg Nelson, Kent Harris, Heidi Jensen,Janice Lehman, Marcia Hafner and Monica Plecker. Old Business: Railroad Committee Update: Kent Harris stated the appraiser they previously contacted has not responded back regarding the $15,000 fee for the appraisal and what it entails. He asked the board members for suggestions on contacting another appraiser. There was discussion regarding whether an appraisal is necessary and if it will help the board secure a lease for railroad land. Railroad lease prices have been steadily going up in price. Because the railroad requires a high amount of liability insurance on their leased property it is sometimes not cost effective to have certain types of businesses located on railroad property. The board decided they will approach the railroad with aesthetic improvements on leased railroad property that will approve the look of Main Street.
