The spreadsheet centams fennulas, that will cross total, and down total information on statements/sheets as well as move the required information to related statements/sheets. It also contains additional schedules, that can be used to develop the/m~ormation necessary for completion of the government- wide sta*ements required by GASB No. 34. The information on these spreadsheets is linked to other statements/shee~s so the information is sent to the appropriate statement/sheet. We o_re currently testing the spreadsheet for accuracy and completeness but it will availableon our website and on compact disc by June 30, 2004. We will distribute the compact disc to all counties, cities and towns free of charge. Our staff will also be available, to the extent possible, to assist you in developing fixed (capital asset) depreciation schedules and information, preparing the annual financial reporting using the GASB #34 format, and any other changes in accounting practices initiated by GASB as well as all other services we have provided in the past.
