A DaF in the Life of the Yellowstone River
Valley
A Day in the Life of the Yellowstone River
Valley, 200 Years After Wm. Clark is a
photography project involving the residents of
the Yellowstone River Valley fi.om Livingston to
the confluence With the Missouri River at Ft.
Union, the area that William Clark passed
through in the summer of 1806 on his return
fi.om the west coast. P-.esid~nts are asked to take
pictures on July 25m in order to create a snapshot
of the region and its people. The pictures will be
the basis for local displays, a major exhibition at
the Yellowstone Art Museum, and a book. On
July 25a, residents take pictures of some aspect
of their part of the Yellowstone River Valley -
its people, its enviroranent, and its working and
leisure activities. Towards the middle of Augast,
participants are asked to deliver two copies of
each photograph (only one photograph per
person) to the Laurel Chamber of Commerce.
