BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
March 24, 1998 7:00 p.m.

The committee reviewed the following 1998-99 preliminary budgets:
Proposed Mill
GENERAL ALL PURPOSE 65.00
PERS 4.00
COMPREHENSIVE INSIIR/kNCE 7.00
POLICEMEN'S INSURANCE 2.00
EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE 6.00
AIRPORT AUTHORITY 2.00
FIREMEN'S RELIEF 4.00
TOTAL SUBJECT TO NEW 1996 BASE YEAR 90.00
STORM SEWER BONDS & INTEREST 5.00
95.00
The total levy will decrease from 100 to 95 mills for the next
fiscal year. This is due to a decreased assessment for the Storm
Sewer G.O. Bond issue which will be paid off in June 1999.
- General Fund Revenue
- SIDS - The only remaining assessment is for SID ~110
- PERS, Comprehensive Insurance, Police Health Insurance, Employee
Health Insurance. These are mill levies which are permitted
outside the 65 all purpose mill levy.
