MINUTES OF OCTOBER 9, 2003 MEETING
Present: Bud Johnson, Kate Stevenson, Carol Strizich, Ken Olson, Bob Wiens, Judy Goldsby,
Kathleen Baumgartner, and Cai Cumin; also present Rocky Smith.
Minutes of the last meeting were approved as presented on motion by Judy with second by Bob;
motion carried.
Rocky gave a report on his first month's activities promoting and coordinating economic
development in Laurel. It was the sense of the OC that he is doing exactly what we hoped.
Cai gave out copies of the draft BikePed Plan for Laurel. The Plan will not be entirely
reproduced for final copy. Rather those pages that need correction or additions can be modified.
An invoice from Cumin Associates for $1430.00 for work on the Plan was approved on motion
by Ken with second by Bob; it carried.
Opportunity for public to speak. None accepted.
