nomination could include owaiers or co-owners in the wholesale, manufacturing, retail,
food and beverage business, as well as legal, professional, or service businesses,
including financial institutions, auto dealerships, etc.)
Soecial Service Award: Contribution to the community, or their organization or group
(if any). (Your nomination could not only include those belonging to an organization or
club, but may include anyone who has served the community in any form.)
Lifetime Achievement Awarq: Contribution to the community over a period of many
years and has devoted much of their life making the community a better place to live or
has tried to make a difference in the lives of the people around them.
Please give a summary and a brief reason why your nominee should be selected
based on their contribution. The back of this sheet or a separate sheet may he used.
Christmas To Remember Parade
Sunday, December 7, 2003 - 5:30 p.m.
Awards In The Followin~ Categories:
*Best of Parade *Best Lighted Entry *Best Walking Entry *Bes! Commercial
Registration fee is $5.00, additional entries $I .00 each. Registration is at Helena Chemical Parking Lot
located at Main Stree{ and 5m Avenue. Line up will begin at 4:30 p.m. on both sides of 6~ Avenue fach~g
Main Sn'eet. The parade route begins at 6~h Avenue and Main Slreet m~d goes down Main Street and tums
up at Colorado Avenue and e~ds al Ben Franklin Store.
Rules are as follows:
· No throwing candy - candy can be handed out bul not thrown from moving entries.
· Floats need to be lighted since the parade is in the dark- walkers can carry candles or flashlights~
Carolers are vet3' welcome to join in the parade.
A safe dislance b*iween ent~4es - stay close enough to nol cause breaks, b~ far enough away to allow for safety.
Uar-aly conduct will not be allowed, lfanmeone is driving or acting in conduct tiaa! may cause injury to another,
they will be forced to exit the parade.
Horses and other animals will be lined up towards the end of the parade. Load vehicles or noisy entries will be
lined up towards tl~ froat of ~he parade.
