COMBINED INSURANCE AND BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEES
JUNE 24, 1998 7:00 P.M.

Bob Worthington, MMIA Insurance Coordinator
Larry McCann
Bob reported that MMIA now has a property insurance program. He gave an
overview of how the program came about and reviewed the proposed coverage
and premiums with the committee.
We currently pay $33,729 for property, boiler and machinery, and fidelity
insurance coverage. MMIA's premium will be $9,988 for increased coverage and
more insurance features.
Motion by Miles Walton, seconded by Norman Orr to recommend that the city
participate in the MMIA property insurance program effective July 1, 1998.
Motion carried.
