The committee reviewed the January claims and recommended that they be paid.
The overtime report for PPE 1-25-99 was distributed.
Don distributed a letter he received from Applied Business Systems, Inc.
regarding our Y2K update.
Don will check with Joe Leckie about the preparation of a resolution regarding
the capitalization of fixed assets.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:

Four tires for S-9 loader

Dear Don:
Several months ago we communicated to you our position on Y2K. We also indicated Y2K was a 3 prong
problem. 1) Your hardware (ROM BIOS). 2) Your operating system (DOS, Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT, Unix,
etc.). 3) Application Software (Budgetary Accounting, Tax Billing, Word Processing, eta).
Based on our records concerning your installation, we submit the following update on Y2K:
Hardware; the ROM BIOS on your 3345 is not Y2K compliant However, your ROM BIOS can
be upgraded The cost is $200.
Operating System; your Unix Operating System Release is 3. 01. O1 and is not Y2K compliant, you
will need Release 3.02 to be Y2K complian~ The cost is $ 9$O, plus $$OO installation, ~xcluding
travel Current lead time is 20 to 30 days ARO.
