Board Meeting Minutes
The Meeting was held on March 12th at Laurel Golf Club. In attendance were: Executive Board
Members: President-Christy Williams and executive secretary- Marcia Hafner. Directors: Monna Rae
Adickes, Monica Plecker and Amanda Powell. Members: Zada Stamper.
Because we did not have a quorum, no action was taken.
Christy called the meeting to order.
Old BUSINESS
• New Roof - The new roof is on the Chamber.
• Montana Conference on Tourism - Because of Marcia's knee, she will not be going.
Registration will be refunded.
• Money to Savings - Monna Rae combined the 2 accounts at Altana. It was decided to
take no action on the transfer to savings. The interest in the Yellowstone checking was a
tad higher than the Altana savings.
• Website - The new website has been completed. At the time of this meeting, it has not
been published. An email will be sent out to arrange for times to preview the site.
New BUSINESS
• July 4th Committee - A chamber committee meeting was set to start things rolling. We
decided to open ideas for the theme to the public, via Facebook. Competitive Timing will
be doing the registration, bibs and the timing for the race. Marcia reported on the meeting
she and Molly had with Matt Wheeler from the city.
Monica will check on if other groups ask for a permit to use the park.
• Summer Seasonal Help - Request for applications will go out and be closed April 15th.
• Ribbon Cutting - Rimrock Chevrolet will host an Open House on Monday. The ribbon
cutting will be at 5:00.
