Minutes of December 13, 2001
Members present: Stevenson, Baumgartner, Johnson, Walker, Easton, Jonutis, Olson,
and Cumin; also present: Kurt Baltrush, Jerry Shay, and Ed Thumer (Planning Board
members).
The minutes of the last meeting were approved as prepared. Budget status sheets were
handed out.
The collected recommendations from the various phases of the TCSP Plan were handed
out. Cal stated that we need to decide which of the many recommendations are our
priorities that we want to forward as direct recommendations to the City Council (and
Planning Board). We need to decide if we want to delete some of the recommendations
or just let them remain in the various studies we have had done~and concentrate on the
specific ones we want to forward to the governing body.
It was decided that our January meeting would be a working meeting in which we would
go through all the recommendations and select those we want to emphasize to the City
Council. Part of this will be to determine how the ones we select will be/can be
implemented. The final 5 to 10 recommendations will then have to have timeframes and
budgets attached.
It was also decided that we try and get the CD that Fischer and Associates used as
presentation material at the Chamber After Hours at Kate's place. We can use it to make
presentations to the City Council, Chamber, etc.
Cal requested any feedback on the Entryway Zoning Ordinance; there was none at this
time.
Invoice from Cumin Associates for work for $1,375.00 was approved.
Meeting adjourned. Next meeting is at the regularly scheduled time, January 10, 2002 at
7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers.
