This grant cycle was very competitive and because of state budget constraints, there was a total of $3,679,068 available. Out of 73 applications, only 40 were funded. Your project was not recommended for funding by our agency and the legislature was in agreement. A list of all the approved projects is enclosed for your information. If you have questions regarding the legislative or ranking process, please call me at 444-6839. Your time and effor[ spent in the application and ranking process was appreciated. We welcome you to reapply to our program in the next grant cycle and I would be glad to work with you on submitting a new application. Sincerely, Pam Smith Program Specialist Encl.
