RE: June 2003 GASB #34 Seminar & Legislative Update
The Department of Administration, Local Government Services Bureau, in conjunction with the
Governmental Audit Committee of the Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants, will be
conducting training seminars covering specific GASB #34 topics and Legislative Update
information at various locations throughout the State in June. Topics for the June seminar will
include Report Preparation/Required Supplementary Information and Legislative Update.
We would appreciate it if you would make this seminar information available to other entity
officials and department heads. You are also invited to bring any other questions or concerns to
the seminars.
A List of seminar locations and dates is attached. Please return the enclosed registration form to the
Helena office by May 30, 2003. Starting time for all seminars will be 9:00 a.m. and we will finish
