HomeMy WebLinkAboutWeis ConstructionLAUREL CITY COUNCIL 115 WEST 1ST STREET LAUREL, MONTANA 59044 Dear Council Members: APR 2 5 20O3 CITY OF LAUREL April 22, 2003 We have been looking at eight acres that sets north of Sth street and is described as block seven and eight of the Nutting Sub-division. I understand this property lays just outside of the city limits and that the city limits joius this property on two sides. Can this be annexed to the city and if so what would it cost? We know we would have to have a certified engineer draw up the plans to be submitted to the county and state but we would like some idea as to the cost of the inspection fees, zoning and etc. We would want city services if we were to go ahead and develop this acreage. We under- stand it is zoned for manufactured houses. We know that we have to put the water, sewer, electric and gas to each space, plus the street with curb, gutter and payment. Does the city require one hookup to the property and if so what would the hookup charge be? Where would we have to hook on to city water and sewer? What is your base rate for water and sewer? What is the charge per thousand on water and sewer? The street that lays on the west side of the property what would our obligations be on that?
