Robert Carr has submitted a request for use of the Community Room after hours on Wednesday
evenings in January. He currently has a prayer group meeting at his home that has grown too large for
the space in which they meet. Mr. Carr has stated that the meetings are open to the general public and
not refreshments will be served. The group is just looking for a temporary meeting place. Bruce
motioned that Mr. Carr be allowed to use the Community Room for the requested Wednesdays provided
anyone can attend. Dixie seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Other
Nancy let the Board know that Darlene tripped over the parking stop in the employee parking lot a few
days ago because the outside lights had gone out that evening. Ace Electric was called the next morning
and asked to address the safety concerns of no lighting. Both lamps had burned out or were in the
process of burning out. Ace Electric replaced them and 4 ballasts inside the library that weren't working
properly. Darlene is healing from skinned knees, hands, and face.
