Dear Members of District Six:
FAX [406) 34~1-3414 Your Touchstone Energ7' Partner
Our current Board of Trustee, Ray Michels, who represents District Six, recently
announced that he will not seek another term as a Board Member. Mr. Michels has served on
¥~ll6w~iSh~--Valley-El~ctnTb-Cob~efative'~ Bo~ for tbSrty:two yea~F
The decision by Mr. Michels not to seek another term makes available the Board of
Trustee position to anyone who is a current member residing in District Six. District Six
includes the areas north of Lanrel and Park City, along with the Acton and Molt areas. A person
seeking a Board of Trustee position must be a bona~fide resident of District Six and be a current
member of Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative. A member seeking a position on the Board
may not be employed by or financially interested in a competing enterprise of business selling
electric energy or supplies to the Cooperative, or be involved in a business primarily engaged in
selling electrical or plumbing appliances, fixtures or supplies to the members of the Cooperative.
If you are interested in being a Board of Trustee for District Six, you must be nominated
by another member during our annual meeting on March 18, 2003. I£you are nominated, it is
important that you be prepared to address the membership in attendance and introduce yourself
and express why you are interested in serving as a Board of Trustee.
The Board of Trustees meets once per month at our office in Huntley. A per diem and
mileage allowance is paid for board meeting attendance. Some travel is required in attending
both in state and out of state meetings. It takes time and dedication to be a knowledgeable and
effective board member. ........................
Please feel free to contact any of our existing Board of Trustees or me if you would like
further information or have any questions.
Sincerely,
Terry M. Holzer
