AMBULANCE COMMITTEE
AUGUST 24, 1995 5:00 P.M.
COUNCIL CHAMBERS
MEMBERS PRESENT: Gay Easton Donna Kilpatrick
Dan Lowell Sharon Herman
Cathy Gabrian Sue Blaskovich
The new base rate structures were discussed reflecting.
reimbursements for ambulance service from Medicare.
Motion by Dan Lowell, seconded by Donna Kilpatrick, to set the
base fee at $250.00 plus mileage and supplies. Motion carried.
An ordinance will be drawn up and presented to the council for
approval.
Approved and accepted from the previous meeting:
1. The Laurel Ambulance will not accept any standby requests
outside the Laurel City-County Planning zone perimeter.
2. All non-emergency standby service is to be approved by
the Ambulance Committee.
3. Motion was made and seconded to approve the new medical
director, Dr. Tony Brouso, and carried.
