ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16.16 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO MINOR PLAT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS.
WHEREAS, changes have been recommended to bring the Laurel City Code into
compliance with state laws; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the residents of the City of Laurel to pass such an
ordinance;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that the
LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE is hereby amended as is set forth below.
Chapter 16.16.020 shall be amended as follows:
16.16.020 Minor plat application requirements.

The subdivider shall meet with or provide all relevant information regarding the proposed
minor subdivision to the city-county planning representative prior to making written
application for plat approval.
Written application for minor plat approval along with the required fee as established in
Section 16.56.050, shall be submitted to the city-county planning board together with
twenty-four copies of the minor plat containing all the information and supplementary
material required in preliminary plat submittal in Sections 16.12.110 through 16.12.120.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City
Council and approved by the Mayor.
