ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.10 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO AGENDA
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that the
LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE is hereby amended as is set forth below.
Chapter 2 shall be amended as follows:
Chapter 2.10.040. Agenda.
All reports, communications, ordinances, resolutions, contract documents or other
matters to be submitted to the council, shall be submitted by nine a.m. (9:00 a.m.) on the
Wednesday immediately preceding the next regularly scheduled council meeting with the
exception that the mayor may approve late submittals deemed to be in the city's best
interest by delivering the same to the clerk of the council, whereupon the mayor shall
immediately arrange a list of such matters according to the order of business specified
herein, and provide each member of the council with a copy of the same not later than
one working day immediately preceding the council meeting.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City
council and approved by the Mayor.
Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on
August 6 ,2002, by Alderman Meats
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second reading this 3rd day
of September ,2002, upon motion of Alderman Van Roekel .
