The Tree board met at 9:00 A.M. in City Hall, with Pat
Hart presiding, attending members LuAnn Engh, Sue Carter and
Kurt Markegard.
Patrick ileidle is cutting down two Cottonwood trees and
trimming the trees in Fireman' s Park. He will be trimming
the trees in the Laurel Cementary.
The Laurel High School Honnor Society will maybe help us
in some of our tree projects. We are looking into a grant
from the D.N.R.C. for cleaning up our entrances and exits into
Laurel, Kurt is looking into this.
The trees that died at the Laurel library will be removed
this fall and also the railroad ties around the Locust trees.
We will have Arbor Day declared May 1, 2015, this needs
to be done with the Mayor by December 31, 2014.
