ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.10 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO MEETINGS.
WHEREAS, changes have been recommended to bring the Laurel City Code into
compliance with state laws; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the residents of the City of Laurel to pass such an
ordinance;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that the
LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE is hereby amended as is set forth below.
Chapter 2.10 shall be amended as follows:
2.10.030 Meetings.
Regular meetings of the city council shall be held on the first and third Tuesday of
each month at a time set by the council, in the council chambers of city hall, or at
such other time and place as designated by the council. Should the regular meeting
day be a recognized holiday the council shall, with proper notice, set an alternate
day for the meeting.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City
Council and approved by the Mayor.
