ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16.12 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS.
WHEREAS, changes have been recommended to bring the Laurel City Code into
compliance with state laws; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the residents of the City of Lam-el to pass such an
ordinance;
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, that the
LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE is hereby amended as is set forth below.
Chapter 16.12.040 shall be amended as follows:
16.12.040 Application requirements.
On reaching conclusions, informally as recommended in pre-application regarding his
general program and objectives, the subdivider shall cause to be prepared a preliminary
plat together with the supplementary material as specified in these regulations.
Written application for preliminary plat approval along with the required fee as
established in Section 16.56.050 shall be submitted to the city-county planning board
together with twenty-four copies of the material as specified in these regulations.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after final passage by the City
Council and approved by the Mayor.
Introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on
November 6 , 2002, by Alderman EasCon
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Laurel City Council on second reading this 3rd day
of December ,2002, upon motion of Alderman Van Roekel
